Sana saves your clients money in a few different ways:
- Access to Sana Care: Our virtual primary care and care navigation service, Sana Care, offers your clients convenient and affordable access to care. With Sana Care, members can receive medical care, prescriptions, and care plans from the comfort of their homes, at no cost to them.
- Negotiated Pricing with Providers: Sana negotiates pricing with healthcare providers based on objective, industry-accepted metrics. By reducing provider markups, we make premiums more manageable for your clients, ensuring they receive high-quality care at a lower cost.
- Level-Funded Plans: Sana provides level-funded plans, which allow employers to receive a credit or refund if they do not spend what was budgeted in their premiums. We can additionally apply deductible credits if an employer chooses to switch midyear.
- Tax Benefits: Small businesses can deduct the cost of employee premiums from their federal tax filings and taxes are only applied to the stop loss premium, opposed to being fully insured. Depending on their situation, additional tax credits may also be available.
